Jim Levinger, CEO
Mr. Levinger has 20 years experience in developing
and managing technology solutions that solve complex
business problems. Throughout his career, he has
been a pioneer in developing interactive technologies
for marketing, eCommerce, and education. He has
been responsible for introducing innovative approaches
to make computer and telecommunications technologies
more accessible and useful for consumers.
Recently he was the VP of Client
Services for International Wireless. There he
was responsible for managing the design, development
and implementation of products that enabled mobile
devices with embedded digital cameras to read
barcodes and other visual symbols.
Mr. Levinger was the founder and CEO of PixelDance
Communications, Inc., an award-winning developer
of interactive marketing, eCommerce and Internet
systems for Fortune 500 and high technology firms.
In March of 2000 he merged PixelDance with Lavastorm,
Inc. where he went on to lead their user experience
efforts.
Early in his career, Mr. Levinger
was a member of the team that launched Times Mirror
Corporation's first electronic publishing efforts.
He also was responsible for managing DemoSoft,
the first online service for promoting and demonstrating
computer software.
Mr. Levinger has an MBA from
Northeastern University.
Sanford Squires, VP Technology
Mr. Squires has twenty years of experience in
a number of areas of high-tech and application
software development. Most recently, Mr. Squires
has been directly responsible for designing and
implementing image based 1D and 2D barcode recognition
systems on a variety of mobile phone, PDA, and
general computer platforms. He has worked on analysis,
design, and implementation of a number of Digital
Signal Processing embedded systems, including
work with a medical machine vision microscopy
system, a custom hand-held sensor device, communication
line test equipment, and a telephone based testing
device simulating communications from different
remote devices.
In prior work, Mr. Squires
has led large technology initiatives such as design
and development of a logic-programming based expert
system tool, a half-terabyte commercial database
system, a thousand end user Web to legacy mainframe
interface system, and managed the maintenance
and distribution of a software product with more
than a million lines of source code, distributed
monthly to hundreds of users on CD-ROM.
Mr. Squires holds a Masters
degree in Physics from Brown University
Ashley Heather, VP Business Development
Ashley Heather was the CEO and founder of MusiKube,
LLC, until December 2004 when it was purchased
by For-Side, the Japanese based public company.
MusiKube is a leading developer of mobile media
and entertainment solutions based in New York.
Heather founded MusiKube in July 2001 and was
responsible for the company’s overall vision
and strategy behind MusiKube’s success.
An entrepreneur in innovative wireless media,
Heather has over 10 years of experience in the
development and marketing of leading technology
solutions in the United States and Internationally.
Prior to founding MusiKube,
Heather served as COO of Cast Technologies, an
advanced wireless security company supporting
firms such as American Express and Diners Club.
In addition to Cast Technology Solutions, Heather
served as Principal Consultant for Impact Plus,
a European management consultancy Heather led
his practice to a number of honors, including
“European eBusiness Consultancy of the Year”
in 2001.
Amir Rozenberg, Director, Product Management
Amir Rozenberg has a unique technology and product
management skill set in the wireless handset space.
Previously Amir was a product manager at TTPCOM,
the world’s leading supplier of software
and silicon for digital handsets, where he successfully
managed a number of strategic handset software
products. He has a deep understanding of software
solutions for cellular phones. Prior to TTPCOM,
he worked for Intel Cellular Communications where
he led development teams, architected software
and was responsible for a range of software solutions.
He has a M.Sc. in electrical engineering from
Tel Aviv University.
Bruce Radl, Director, Imaging and Optics
Mr. Radl is a photographic scientist with over
20 years experience designing optical system and
camera products. His areas of expertise include
geometrical/physical optics, digital photography,
photographic hardware.
While working at photographic
companies including Kodak,
Polaroid, Eikonix and Scitex, Mr. Radl has designed
or invented numerous photographic and optical
products including laser scanners, CCD cameras,
optical viewers, illumination systems.
Mr. Radl has a BS and an MS
in Photographic Science and Instrumentation
from the Rochester Institute of Technology. In
the imaging sciences he
holds four patents and has one patent pending.
Tapio Anttila, Advisor
Tapio Anttila is a wireless industry expert who
specializes in mobile entertainment and the entertainment
and content industries and the wireless community.
In 2004 Tapio was responsible
for the mobile content activity for Macromedia,
defining the company strategy and key licensing
relationships. Before that Tapio led the mobile
entertainment practice at Brauning, a boutique
wireless consultancy.
Earlier Tapio provided business development services
for Crisp Wireless, a leading platform technology
company in the mobile Java area. Prior to Crisp,
Tapio spent 6 years as an executive at Ericsson,
where he was the Director of Business Development
of 3G Media for the US market focusing on mobile
entertainment and Mobile Virtual Network Operator
(MVNO) issues.
Tapio holds a Master of Science
in Operations Research (Department of Technical
Physics) from the Helsinki University of Technology.
He is a frequent speaker at industry events and
publishes his own newsletter at www.anttila.net.
Dave Bell, Advisor
Dave Bell has been involved in mobile entertainment
and media since the seeds of the industry were
first planted in the mid nineties. Dave is currently
leading corporate business development and strategy
at PlayPhone, a company pioneering new distribution
channels and delivery vehicles for mobile content.
PlayPhone currently distributes content for top
publishers, including i-Play, Atari, Glu Mobile,
Taito, inFusio, and many others.. It’s products
can be found in many of North America’s
largest retail stores including Wal-Mart, Target,
EB Games and Best Buy, among others.
Before joining PlayPhone, Dave
founded Chasma Interactive Publishing, one of
the first publishers of branded, top-tier mobile
games in North America. Under Dave’s leadership
as CEO, Chasma pioneered innovative content for
the CDMA BREW platform as one of QUALCOMM’s
first ten content partners. Prior to the company’s
sale to Kayak Interactive in 2005, the company
had raised two rounds of venture capital from
institutional and angel investors and launched
more than a dozen branded and original products
on hundreds of mobile devices.
Dave has been a lecturer at
the MIT Sloan School of Management and has delivered
keynote addresses or has been a featured participant
on panels at many major mobile industry conferences.
Todd M. Malan,
Advisor
Todd M. Malan is President & CEO of the Organization
for International Investment (OFII), a Washington
D.C.-based business association representing US
subsidiaries of overseas companies such as Nestle,
DaimlerChrysler and SABMiller. OFII is the only
association that exclusively represents firms
that are "insourcing" into the United
States. OFII promotes the economic benefits of
insourcing, advocates a level playing field in
US legislative and regulatory environments and
hosts unique and focused conferences for particular
functions (CEO, CFO, General Counsel etc)focused
on operating in the United States. Malan is a
regular public commentator on international business
issues, having appeared in the Wall Street Journal,
Financial Times, CNN and the Washington Post.
Malan holds a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Political Science from the University
of Washington in Seattle. Malan also attended
